On October 31, fourth-year students from the Department of French Philology visited the French Language and Culture Center, a public organization “Paris-IF,” where they will undergo translation practice from November 4 to 18, 2024.
They were welcomed by the director of the organization, Serhii Yeromin, who conducted an introductory tour, shared insights about the institution’s activities, and discussed the goals of the practice.
The practice supervisor and the students selected a project to work on: translating a tourist guidebook about Ivano-Frankivsk from Ukrainian into French. This guidebook aims to help French-speaking tourists learn about the city’s history, culture, and attractions.
